Shelton, CT - Since July 1, Hasler, Inc. has introduced new mailing systems, a line of folder inserters, new postal scales and, according to Bob Puskar, the company’s National Director, Marketing, more are on the way.

Hasler’s flagship product is the PowerPost digital mailing system, with its “in-motion” weighing platform that provides twice the mixed-weight processing speed of competitive products now in the market. PowerPost’s patented SAFE™ Crypto-Vault provides “ultra-secure” protection of postal funds and meets the U.S. Postal Service’s highest level of security.

Using USPS-approved Information Based Indicia (IBI) technology, PowerPost’s digital engineering is USPS-compliant beyond 2008.

In addition to the PowerPost, Hasler has introduced the digital WhisperJet mailing system line. This includes Models WJ135 and WJ180 which now fill out Hasler’s line of digital mailing products and broaden the range of potential customers.
With operating speeds of either 135 or 180 letters per minute, these new units will also process mail up to 5/8” thick.

Postage accounting is offered for either 50 or 200 accounts; automatic date advance is standard. There are 10 job presets, password security is standard and they are equipped for TeleMeterSetting™.

The new folder inserter line comprises three models, the M2000, M4000 and M6000 which offer increasingly useful and sophisticated features to fit applications of greater complexity. The units are surprisingly small, however, which means “production” capabilities are now possible in a normal office environment. They’re office-quiet, too!

Operating speeds run from 1,750 to 3,500 pieces per hour processing documents up to seven pages. Tray capacities range from 250 to 325 pieces. The M4000 and M6000 feature Optical Mark Recognition and a Nine-Job memory function.
Seven launch meetings were held across the country to introduce the equipment to the Hasler network of independent dealers.

In all, over 100 dealerships were represented by 450 dealer personnel. Nearly all Hasler’s field managers were able to attend at least one meeting. The lead presenters (and performers) at nearly every meeting were Mark Richardson, North American PC Systems Sales Manager, and Drew Casey, Manager, Sales Training & Marketing Development, who clearly and thoroughly introduced all the new products (after warming up their audiences spoofing Saturday Night Live’s Hans and Frans comedy routine).

Future products will include software solutions for information and mail center management as well as new digital mailing systems for light volume mailers.
