| Hasler Introduces Enhanced PC Mailing Solutions |

| Shelton, CT - Less than five years ago business mailers had no way of managing their mailing productivity or the costs associated with the process. Nor was there available an efficient and easy-to-use system for tracking the whereabouts of incoming shipments. As companies grew their branch offices, satellite offices, office campus sites, and nationwide operating facilities, these deficiencies loomed ever larger. Hasler technology helped to solve the problems then, and now two of their most successful mail management products have been re-engineered to provide customers with even greater benefits. System 36 is a Windows-based account management system for consolidating company-wide mailing data. According to Bob Puskar, the company’s National Director, Marketing, the system adapts easily to any business by using existing hardware and communication configurations. “It will interface with any device that handles paper,” Mr. Puskar said. He cited folder/inserters, copies, printers, and bursters in addition to mailing machines. An unlimited number of accounts can be monitored with reports available in real time, in almost any file format. “System 36 provides real accountability,” said Mr. Puskar. “And saves real money, too!” The other product, SmartSort II, is a handling and sorting system for incoming mail. Because of the product’s patented, voice recognition capability, the sorting process has never been faster. Or, more accurate. “Voice recognition software has been around for years,” Mr. Puskar said. “But the high cost of the hardware needed made products like SmartSort prohibitively expensive.” Accelerating technological advances have changed that, according to Mr. Puskar. The software learns the speech patterns of the operators and can differentiate among nuances in regional accents as well as local speech patterns. “This product really sells itself,” Mr. Puskar said. “Customers think it’s fun. And it sure is for their employees!” |
