| SHELTON, CT, June 14, 2004 – Hasler, Inc. has introduced the latest in its series of advanced, fully automatic folder/inserters, the M3000. Up to 20 times faster than manual processing, the economical, easy to use M3000 is designed for the low to medium volume desktop user looking for efficient, cost-effective processing features not normally found in machines in this category. Strategically positioned between its M1000 and M4000 models, the M3000 simplifies the process of folding, stuffing and sealing envelopes so that virtually anyone can handle the task quickly and efficiently. The versatile M3000 will fold, insert and seal documents - up to five pages, stapled or loose - at a rate of 2,200 filled envelopes per hour, letting you automate all letters, checks, cards, invoices, statements, pre-folded flyers and other marketing material. Direct benefits of the M3000 include:
Conveniently, the Fill and Start feature allows you to simply load documents and envelopes and run the job. The M3000 then automatically calculates the size of your documents and sets the correct fold. Operated and monitored from a single screen, the system will store your settings for future recall to one of nine pre-programmed jobs. The M3000 feed stations are equipped with Double Document Detection (DDD), Hasler’s state-of-the-art electromechanical sensor system that ensures the correct number of inserts are fed from each feeder. This technology results in superior accuracy regardless of thickness of paper and pre-folded documents. Also, Hasler offers optional software programs to further enhance the capabilities of the M3000. Optical Mark Recognition software, for example, enables the M3000 to accurately process client-sensitive jobs with varying numbers of pages. Combined with Hasler’s IntelliRead software, the M3000 prevents you from sending out personalized documents to the wrong addresses. The M3000 is easily interfaced with Hasler’s mailing machines to help create a complete mailing solution. It can be connected to a PC or laptop, allowing service technicians to download the latest software versions and upload machine performance reports, minimizing equipment downtime. |
